Melissa Killeen
Recovery Coach, Executive Coach, Author, and National Recovery Advocate

Melissa Killeen, MSOD, MPhil, is a nationally recognized recovery coach, executive coach, author, educator, and addiction recovery advocate. With more than 25 years of personal recovery experience and decades as a business owner, entrepreneur, and organizational leader, she helps individuals build successful, fulfilling lives in long-term recovery.
Melissa approaches recovery coaching much as an executive coach works with a CEO. She believes recovery is about more than maintaining sobriety—it is about rebuilding relationships, restoring confidence, achieving personal and professional goals, and creating a life filled with purpose and meaning. Her specialized approach is particularly valuable for professionals, entrepreneurs, executives, healthcare professionals, and business owners navigating recovery challenges while balancing career and family responsibilities.

As a certified Master Trainer of the LIFO® Assessment, Melissa utilizes evidence-based behavioral and communication tools that help clients better understand themselves and improve their interactions with family members, colleagues, and business partners. She also incorporates holistic recovery resources, including Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/Tapping) and Matrix Re-Imprinting, providing clients with additional drug-free tools for resilience, emotional wellness, and personal growth.
Melissa earned two graduate degrees in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania, with a specialization in Executive Coaching and Leadership Management. In 2015, she received the Vernon Johnson Award from Faces & Voices of Recovery for her national leadership in advancing addiction recovery and recovery support services. She also served as President of Recovery Coaches International.
Today, Melissa coaches individuals seeking lasting recovery and trains recovery coaches nationwide. Her mission is to help people move beyond addiction and create lives marked by purpose, connection, fulfillment, and lasting recovery.
